As we know, the upcoming Assault on Dark Athena for Xbox 360 isn't a full-on sequel to Escape from Butcher Bay. Eurogamer is reporting that Tigon's head of production, Ian Stevens, is calling it an "episodic expansion" rather than a sequel for a very good reason: a much more ambitious true sequel is in the works. In his words, the title is a "couple of years out if you guys want it".

| Why can't it come out for 360, PS3, and PC all at the same time? It would make the most sense from a business perspective.

The fact that there's still been no real word on this (that I can find) worries me somewhat. I loved Butcher Bay, but, though I bought it, never have gotten around to Dark Athena. Perhaps now I should...
Either way, Riddick is by far the best thing about the universe he inhabits. He's a perfect storm of character elements, and stepping into his shoes is the only time I've ever really been comfortable playing the bad guy.
